Hello Everyone!I'd like to first take a moment to thank everyone for stopping by! This is my first attempt at blogging, so I guess I'll use this intro page for, what else, but an introduction.
I always find it fascinating as to what noun people associate themselves with, as it works as a preset to how they view themselves. (A lot like Cooley's looking- glass self). So I guess if I were to put my own label on myself, I'd say that I am a student. At the moment, I am currently wrapping up my master's in applied sociology at Texas State University, which has been my home for the past 4 years. I am also a lover of one man, Matt, who is a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and the reason I'll be going on a journey to Seattle WA very soon. (Not to be too trite, but I guess it's my own little version of "wanderlust").
I'm also a baker! Not to be misconstrued with the events that are now possible in Washington, but rather in my kitchen! I'm now a lady of the lieutenant, and I have to be composed! (Well, not too much. I don't want to disappoint Janet Chavetz or Simone!) But yes! A Baker! A confectioner sugar spewing, alcohol infused marshmallow maker, all whist not wearing a bra, or pants!
I live for making beautiful, delicious cakes with homemade fondant flowers, and finding a significant p value.
So this is my welcoming introduction to you viewers. I look forward to sharing recipes, ideas, inspirations and sometimes research articles!
